Gift Voucher FAQ
What values are available for gift vouchers?
Our gift vouchers are available for any amount up to £60 for customers without a pre-existing appointment. For clients with confirmed appointments or ongoing projects, we can arrange for higher-value vouchers—please contact us directly to discuss this.
Why is there a limit on gift voucher amounts?
We’ve introduced a limit of £60 to ensure fairness for all customers and to avoid issues with scheduling and deposits. High-value vouchers can lead to complications, such as expired vouchers, changes in designs, or cancellations. Limiting the amount helps us maintain smooth operations and provide the best possible experience for both voucher recipients and our artists.
Can I use a gift voucher as a deposit?
Yes, vouchers can be used as a deposit amount, but they follow the same policies as a standard deposit. This means that cancellations, late rescheduling, or last-minute design changes may result in the voucher amount being forfeited. Please review our deposit policy for details.
Are gift vouchers refundable?
No, all gift vouchers are non-refundable. This is clearly stated in our terms and conditions and is in place to protect both the voucher buyer and the recipient while ensuring fairness to our artists.
What happens if my voucher expires?
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Unfortunately, once a voucher expires, it can no longer be redeemed. To avoid this, we recommend booking your appointment as soon as possible.
I purchased a voucher for someone who doesn’t want a tattoo. Can I get my money back?
Unfortunately, gift vouchers are non-refundable. We recommend discussing the purchase with the recipient beforehand to ensure they’re excited about getting a tattoo and comfortable with booking within the 12-month validity period.
What happens if I use a voucher for a booking but need to cancel or reschedule?
If you cancel or reschedule within our standard deposit policy timeframe, the voucher can still be applied to a new appointment. However, cancellations or changes outside this timeframe may result in the voucher amount being forfeited, just like a standard deposit.
Can I apply a voucher to an ongoing project?
Yes, vouchers can be used toward ongoing projects with prior agreement. However, they cannot replace standard deposits unless arranged in advance.
